Bye Bye.

I have decided to put 'Mia O'Connell' on hold....it has taken a long time to come to this decision but I have chosen to return to my studies and do a Masters in London and also take time to explore the world and everything it has for me to be inspired by!

The past two years have been a great journey and I would like to thank everyone for their help and support....I shall be returning so perhaps 'See you later' not 'byebye'.

Council of Irish Fashion Designers Launch

14th of April 2011 at IMMA

The Council of Irish Fashion Designers is a represnetative body of its 16 members established to promote the interest of it's members.

To speak with a strong voice on behalf of it's members to the government,state agencies, media, business associations and the public at large.

To activley encourage and nurture new entrants to the Irish Fashion Industry.

To build an aspirational brand for the premium sector of the Irish Fashion Industry.

Each designer produced one piece of work at the launch that best represented their barand and ethos. Each designer also presented a book of there insiration for that piece to help understand the process we go through to get our finished product.
